About Busy Badger Transcriptions

Busy Badger Transcriptions has been transcribing since 2006. We have worked with a variety of companies, though we have been concentrating our focus of work into the legal field since 2008. We have transcribed murder trials, sexual abuse trials, interviews, and hearings; we have transcribed divorce hearings and trials. We have transcribed depositions for business and personal injury lawsuits. We have transcribed these for a variety of formats, states, and jurisdictions. At last count, we have worked with no less than six different jurisdictions, and are looking into even more.

In the five years we have been in the transcription industry, we have worked with a variety of accents and dialects, including Eastern European, Asian, Australian, British, French, German, and Middle Eastern. We have also worked with dialects from within the North American continent, such as Hispanic, Southern, New England, the Northwest, and Canada. One might not think that there is such a difference here in North America, but there truly is. We have also worked with more urban dialects, which makes rehabilitation telephone call transcripts a little more clear.

We cut our teeth in the industry on interviews with abused children. Though the content of the work was heartbreaking, we persevered, knowing that what we were doing was making a difference. We mention this because we know that there are some companies that refuse that kind of content, or rape trials, or murder trials. WE DO NOT.

We know that the transcript of a trial, deposition, or witness interview, properly prepared and accurately transcribed, can mean the difference between verdicts. We want to see justice served, and we will work day and night to ensure that our part is done properly and correctly.

We accept spiritual lectures from all walks of the field, including Christianity, Pagan, Hoodoo, Hindu, and Islamic practitioners. We offer a 15 percent discount to members of the AIRR and any spiritual practitioner of any faith walk, although again, we do reserve the right to refuse service to hate groups.

We have been a member of the AAERT since 2008, and endeavor to uphold their high standards.
